Equines of America is an equine registry dedicated to preserving accurate records of ownership, breeding, and permanent identification for horses of all breeds and disciplines. Our mission is to provide horse owners with secure documentation that can assist in identification and recovery in the event of theft, loss, or natural disasters.
All horses registered with Equines of America are required to be microchipped and DNA tested to establish a permanent genetic profile. Microchips provide safe, reliable, and permanent identification, while DNA profiles offer a unique genetic record comparable to a fingerprint for each individual horse.
Equines of America proudly welcomes all breeds and crosses into our Premium Registry when at least one grandparent or a minimum of 25% verified pedigree is documented. Horses with unknown or unverifiable lineage may qualify for registration within our Foundation Stock Division.
In addition to our registry services, Equines of America also operates as an independent third-party registration agency assisting horse owners with:
• Registration applications
• Transfers of ownership
• Recovery of lost papers
• DNA and microchip processing
• Registry and association paperwork
To authorize Equines of America to act as a third-party agent, owners must complete and sign an Authorization of Agent form and comply with the requirements of the applicable registry or association. DNA verification is mandatory for all horses processed through Equines of America.
We are also proud to offer our annual HIGH POINT Awards Program, recognizing horses and riders across all disciplines from January 1 through December 31 each year.
Congratulations to “EL FEO” — Equines of America 2024 High Point Champion!
